Spring

Sunlight streaming through the cloud

Nature wakens from her winter sleep

Fresh spring waters so delightfully clear

Ice flows from Mountain to Ocean Deep

Colour arrives in vast quantity

So many shades of enveloping green

Cloud so white, Sky so Blue

I stop and stare, as it’s just so serene

From flower bud to hard oval egg

An abundance of life all grasping for air

The harshness of winter now gone

How amazed I am at Natures repair
