Earthly

The rainbows chase the rain away
The sea turns rock to sand
The plants create our oxygen
One third of earth is land
The moon helps tides to ebb and flow
The sun brings warming light
The bumble bee can pollinate
Whilst sharks see black and white
Some whales can live 200 years
Some trees a thousand more
Giraffes are quieter than mice
The lions the loudest roar
Snowflakes bring us pain and joy
A howling winds a gale
The northern lights are beautiful
Whilst deserts seem so pale
The hottest things a lightning bolt
Much hotter than the sun
So many facts, so little time
But what has mankind done?
