Those Days

August 9, 2016

The sound I hear so pleasingly

I sit in awe at what I see

The rolling sound in front of me

White horses flow so gallantly

The ripples moving sand and stone

A million grains now all alone

They tumble as if overthrown

Retreating noise a sandy groan

The blue, the green, the crystal clear

The distance travelled without fear

It even punches cliffs so sheer

The lifetime cycle so austere

Wave tops tumbling violently

The sight and sound reminding me

Those childhood days when I was wee

Those days when I lived by the Sea
