This isn’t my country

Well, not anymore

Too many cultures

And Ghetto’s galore

So much for my language

It’s heard less and less

So many can’t speak it

Nor will they confess

No sign of Religion

The churches are bare

You’ll find trendy people

Are now living there

I can’t get a home

Well, not from the State

I’ve lived here too long

I didn’t migrate

You go to the pub

But won’t find a beer

Just Big macs or Curry

Await you in here

It’s strange how this land

Keeps fading away

Yet flashes its beacon

To help those astray

So what about me

So where can I go

Where else could I live

This life that I know
